Has anyone got one? A friend has found what he thinks is a 1980 Peugeot "Course" at a relative's place. I haven't seen it yet, but he says it's got vitus tubing and a campagnolo groupset... He says it all seems original equipment, so I'd like to find a catalogue and the original spec if possible.

Thanks, Andy

Typically, there's all but 1980 here, but it may still be useful.

That's the site I would have recommended too, followed by http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/, sadly that's drawn a blank as well. Cue much scratching of heads....

Edit - head-scratching over. Give this a whirl:

....although I couldn't find any specific mention of a Course model :? . Plus, were the Stronglight chainsets with "pentagram" spider really in production as late as 1980? Crumbs.

By way of a "compare and contrast", if it's any help here's a link to a ca.1980 Course that was being sold via the LFGSS forum:

Thanks all! I've had a look through the catalogues, but without having seen the actual bike yet it's pretty hard... I think I'll wait until I've at least seen some decent photos before trying to guess the year and model!

And I'm wondering if "Course" is the model name, or could it just be a peugeot way of labelling their "race" bikes (since "course" is french for "race")
