Hercules California Star 1991?

Just pick this up. Its a Hercules California Star, i think its from 1991. The seller told me that de Belgian MTB team in the early nineties used it?

Has someone info on it?

The rear wheel is not original so i think i am going to replace it. Should be a Suntour XC-Pro hub, freewheel and Mavic M261 CD Rim.
 
Its painted, like a green purple sebra. So its a good reflextion of the time periode early ninethies. The sadle has the same strippes.

Not 100% identical (top tube) but same drop-out, distinctive cable guides and canti-stop with hole in it, wishbone seat stay... Certainly came out of the same Taiwan factory at the same time ;)

I know there's people on here who can figure out which factory from the serial number :?:
