2012 Nukeproof Mega

Re: 2012 Nukeproof Mega *work in progress*

Got my new bars and stem fitted tonight, the stem is a 50mm Thomson X4 that I got from a member on here and the bars are Answer ProTaper DH which are 780mm wide am with a 12.5mm rise.

I also got a full original sticker set for the mega so I've put the original down tube sticker back on, and I replaced the shock bolts as they had started to go a bit rusty and didn't look the best!

Looks good fella.

I love those bars. I run them on both my BFe and SX Trail. Shape wise, I can't fault them and I love the width.

Only ridden the bike up and down the street quickly, but the bars do feel a fair bit lower than they did before! It might take some getting used to!

I run the higher rise ones on the SX Trail, which are still pretty low and the same ones as yours on the BFe to keep the front end down.

Will you get chance to take it for a proper spin this weekend? I'm thinking that I may head over to CYB because it's dry!

Im helping a mate move this weekend, but hoping to get out on it locally, maybe just hit the kitchener at sherwood pines on saturday morning..... as it was too boggy last weekend to ride properly so we just did the blue route.

I really like that, great build and look like a fun bike. Quite jealous!

You're a man with good taste...we have the same bar and stem combo!
