SOLD ----- Stronglight A9 Alloy headset.. link

Re: Stronglight A9 Alloy headset.. link

Hi,

I bought a couple of Stronlight headsets recently and, to me, they were light - much lighter than the Tange it replaced. What is the weight differnce between the alloy and steel ones?

Thanks,

Richard

The Alloy A9 does feel very light when you hold it unfitted!

Info found online states the Alloy version is 82g and the steel £140g ?

The other difference is that the Alloy uses cartridge bearings whereas the steel uses ball bearings. The cartridges are very smooth and make adjustment and fitting a lot easier.
