Am working on a little something and and would like the following answered (copy and paste if you can):

How much would you pay someone to do:

Full service 'Gold service'? (EVERYTHING - full strip down, parts replaced as required)

Partial service 'Silver service'? (a near rebuild - parts replaced as required, could lead to a Gold service if required)

Minor service 'Bronze service'? (brakes & gears checked, bolts checked, tyres pumped up)

Puncture repair/ tyre replacement

Wheel straighten

Fork swap out

Feel free to add some more and change the names of the services if you think they are too cheesy.

For those already embarking on this adventure, please feel free to add/ borrow/ steal as you see fit.

Cheers!

Wheel straighten £10-£12

Fork swap out £15

My opinions, good value is something important to me, but MOST important is the level of quality, enthusiasm and customer value. Too often recently i have had to take bikes back because the cables were not put through the botton bracket cable guide etc - simple stuff.

If you are local, ill use you :D

I was about to cut and paste, but I think Widowmaker^^^^ nailed it.

And as said, enthusiasm and helpfulness are king. Being condescending will have me heading for the door, even if you offered to do it for free. The Americans really can teach us Brits a thing or two about customer service.
