Is that a crack or a casting line?

I've never noticed it before and none of the other lugs have that line.

It does look like a casting line and I can't see any paint damage.
Cracks usually find the shortest route.

Yes it is a very straight line, but the paint has flaked down to the chrome in the very corner of the lug. The paint around the lug has not flaked at all so even if the lug is cracked I would hope the joint would not fail. I'll be sure to inspect it on ocassion just to be sure it dosen't change for the worse. Thanks for the replies.
