Had a Vetta SL saddle on my Peak but that was near 20 years ago now.
Was sort of a bit thinner and fitter back then

I had a vetta SL years ago. Good comfy saddle as it was quite broad at the rear section. On my modern mountain bikes I ride road saddles - specialized Toupe and specialized Romin SL both in 143mm width. Both are ultra slimline, light and look like they hurt but they are really decent comfy saddles with good levels of flex.
My retro bikes have a mix of turbo, flite and charge spoons.
