Slingshot

All,
I'm new to this forum stuff so bear with me.
The slingshot is a frame that ive always wanted from my past mountain bike years. always wondered if these are any good?. Really fancy messing around with an old example.

Anyone god any info on these weird but cool looking bikes?

here's a start

I've owned close to a dozen Slingshots over the years. Great bikes. For the most part, they ride like any other hardtail, but there's definitely a little finesse that comes with it.
I've found them to be ideal as full rigid.
Overall they have pretty neutral riding characteristics with nothing overwhelmingly standing out positive or negative about them.
If you're a smooth stroke climber, you'll be quite happy. If you pedal in squares, you'll probably find some unfavorable feedback.
Down trail they're stable and not twitchy. If you like to be in the air a lot, you'll sometimes get a twang from the spring/cable.

I get more bike questions and attention on a Slingshot than any other bike I've owned. And I've had just about everything.
