Re: My Overweight Bike - how do I shed some lbs?

Still reckon the cheapest way to lose weight on a bike is to have a dump :D

Re: My Overweight Bike - how do I shed some lbs?

I did a turd that was approximately 10" long 2" in diameter looked dense enpugh to weigh over a Ib and few oz and was kind of angular rather than cylindrical - that was after 4 days of constipation.
I must've lost a stone in weight

Though I don't understand how I managed to lose more weight than the apparent weight of the turd

Food's quite expensive, though.
Tell that to Kate "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" Moss.

Re: My Overweight Bike - how do I shed some lbs?

Guys, I've got to make an apology
I've been bitching and moaning about a heavy bike and whinging away
Well bought some new digital scales and weighed my RSP Ti and the Dynatech.

The RSP weighs a shade over 22 lbs !
The Dynatech 24 lbs exactly

And the Mtrax a shade over 25.

Changing the Smoke and darts for Wildgripper Sprints on the RSP will take the weight at or just below 22 lbs

My benchmark is the ability to lift the bike over my head with 1 or 2 fingers.
And I thought my bike was heavy!!

Apologies again

Nah, you're just weak. :p

Get yourself to the gym and work on those shoulder presses, you'll be able to lift a 40lb bike over your head in no time. :D

I drill my cable ends and valve caps for a bit of extra weight saving.
