Hi,

after long time looking for a bike like this and looking for Mavic spare parts I finally can show my incredible LOOK. I love that and still think how unbelievable it looks 20 years after!!!

Now I only need a good pair of wheels with Mavic hubs and will be finished!!

Thanks a lot to people like BWS in Norway, ians66 and Roeburndale of this forum and Edu from http://ciclosnoviciado.com/ in Madrid.

Thaanks!

That is spectacular... A couple of nicely-placed Mavic stickers wouldn't look out of place on it.

Have you had a chance to ride it yet? What sort of wheels have you got in mind?

Thanks to all for the kind comments.

Rich 34: I love a classic Mavic 501 Hubs with Mavic Open Pro. About the Mavic stickers... yess! That´s a great idea!!!

Thaaanks :)

i always liked those frames, i think they look retro-futuristic if that makes sense! also with the Mavic groupset it looks spot on.

very cool machine :)

ooh! lovely as you say not that out of place from todays bikes, love the Mavic kit, shouldnt be too hard to source the wheel components, bet it goes very fast. :D

Awesome bike!

Get some mid 90's Mavic Cosmic Pro's on it.

Anyone know the difference between the KG186 and the KG196? Why was the KG196 (team issue) higher spec over the 186?
To the untrained eye they look the same.
