I purchased a Klein Rascal frame a few days ago, now I am looking to build it with some nice period Deore XT parts however I need help finding out the size off Front mech required and seat post required. Does anyone have the answers?

Seatpost diam. 27,2mm; front der. clamp 31,8mm

Congratulations! A Rascal is a great frame.

Anyway, 27.2 XT posts in good condition are not the easiest thing to find but they pop up from time to time. I bought a nos one not long ago........but I waited quite some time before that opportunity presented itself.

What color is your Rascal? Do you have any pics?
