Retrobike National Series Rd 1: Lake District ~ CANCELLED

Re: Retrobike National Series Rd 1: Lake District ~ CANCELLE

No he was wrong of course,

image 15 blokes with bikes on their shoulders plodding through snow...
;-)

Though if they called off the Conisto14 run last minute, a large event never before called off
http://www.coniston14.co.uk

The Cumbrian Commotion at Grizedale (Original source, adventure challenge) went ahead today still.

Whinlatter Altura challenge up the road is going ahead( though with carparks closed and a route/lap change)

(Of course it was, there was no way we'd have been riding other than the road and grizedale I guess)

After dealing with an accident at college on Friday, a compound fracture to a students leg, he had tripped in snow running, bear in mind this is in the centre of Huddersfield and it took over an hour to get the ambulance to the lad with him losing a lot of blood, what would you do in the middle of the lake district, you would soon find your self in big trouble, and there is the issue of duty of care when putting a ride on a public forum, it was the right decision to cancel it
