There's no such a thing as a socialist solution. We'd soon find that out when London's money dries up after independence.

Out of the electable parties in Scotland the SNP is the most concerned with Socialism.

I don't happen to agree we need London.

However, the whole Scottish Independence question is a little like Schrödinger's cat.

The SNP should have realised this and worked with the electorate's desire to have a clear answer to all the questions being raised by the No lobby. It is early days yet, but it seems the "we will work out the details when we get there", a line so popular when in opposition coming up to an election, just won't wash in this case. Largely down to the permanence of the change.

As I said before, the point where the Westminster crowd decided to intervene and insist on only one vote was the time when a climb down could be justified to a single question on Devo Max, as a phased move towards full independence.

The SNP are unlikely to be overturned as the party of choice in Scotland at the next election, after all we voted them in with a massive majority knowing full well they wanted to talk about independence. Obviously a good number did not let that issue overshadow their interest in the rest of their policies.

I don't see the opposition in Scotland looking any more attractive than they were at the last election.

UKIP will never garner SNP levels of support in the UK as a whole, without some serious re-branding and a huge shift to the middle.

I think we maybe should go for independence, take the Labour MPs out Westminster, get a proper Tory leader then I might move dahn sarf and leave the plebs up here to it.

The guy who used to run BBC Scotland's news output and is now a cheerleader for the Yes campaign stays across the road from me. I wonder if he'll doorstep me come the referendum. He'll wish he hadn't. I get the impression he prefers talking pish on TV than doing the donkey work though.

As I said I believe it's almost inevitable we'll get it at some point in the not too distant, more by incremental wearing down of the electorate than any great desire. And lots of bribes like free this and free that, that somehow we can afford yet England can't. Although if we hold out 40 years and the oil runs out then the game's a bogey. That's his answer to everything.

I became a much better climber when I left home for university and moved up to Yorkshire. Of course, it might purely be due to having to get used to the hilly terrain and just getting on with it, but I wouldn't rule out the fact that I drank a lot of this....

There should be a condition of entry for MPs that they have some proper life experience outside of the Westminster bubble. Neither of the two can claim that at the moment. People bang on about schooling but that's neither here nor there. Not having a proper job outside politics in your entire life is more of an issue. Politics shouldn't be career.

And please nobody quote five minutes boring students to death at Harvard. Or Cameron's summer break at Carlton ffs.

True, but we live in a country that cares more about Corrie than whom is pilfering our money down the loo.

Every Tory government makes it harder for the working class, and I mean the real working class, not the workshy chav gobsh!tes that are considered to be working class. Yet, there's a guy I know whom is retired, he's worked abroad for several years and pays little taxes into this country, but comes home for NHS treatment and a free bus pass, before leaving these shores to work abroad after a months jaunt in the UK. He's voted Tory all his life and has not really much to show for it. He's Alf Garnet personified and is raping this country along with everyone else.

The working man will stab his fellow man for a promotion title with no extra pay. There is no solidarity. Thatcher's children have spawned offspring that are full of an I'm alright Jack mentality and are just here to chase the buck and work for the bank, cos let's face it, that's what we all do.

I didn't here the word "immigration" uttered in this last budget. There are more people from abroad in this country now than ever before and they only have to stay here for so long and then they can take ALL of their hard earned British taxes home to their native country and then enter Blighty again to carry on working for their British tax-fleecing bosses or whatever nationality their boss is whom is residing in the UK and knows how to fleece the taxman.

The construction of the Olympic stadiums were supposed to be bringing work for British citizens, but all what really happened was a load of immigrants were given a NI number, so they were seen as British and were given the jobs. My mate's brother is a manager on a major construction site. Every day he signs some form that is passed onto another pen-pusher that allows Johnny Foreigner to get his wife and kids family allowance - paid for in THEIR own country at our expense.

Another neighbour is Russian and she was appalled that her mother was refused entry for heart surgery on the NHS in the UK. I know a gal who used to work for the DSS in Carlisle. She was told to give the immigrants whatever they asked for on entering the office. What is going on here? More than 250,000 extra school places will be needed by next year to meet a continuing surge in demand.

Why aren't these questions being raised? Whom is controlling the media? We are seen as the land of opportunity by the other countries. The UK has no backbone. We can't even fly the Union Jack Flag outside certain buildings because it may upset Muslims! Jeez! Can you imagine the Yanks putting up with that they couldn't fly the Stars 'n' Stripes???

Immigrants bring in more money than they cost, the extra children they are having will pay our pensions. Its unsustainable of course but what are the alternatives?
