Use bar shim and advice

I included the shim for the bars in the package. A two part thing metal and same material as the bars.
Check see if it hasn't been chucked accidentally! (Like I did with some skewers recently)
I suppose as long as you clamp it all tight enough shouldn't be a problem.
a strip of rubber for some extra 'grip' in there should hold it even firmer.
