Raleigh SBDU Time Trial Special 753

The bids have been escalated and have fallen as his friends have been registering bids and then retracting them.

He has agreed an off eBay sale with somebody. I know he did have an offer of £850 from USA but didn't want to ship it so agreed a sale with me, maybe he has changed his mind.

Hopefully the bike goes to an enthusiast and is completed and enjoyed.

I was following the first Ebay auction of this bike. The price was all over the place, even reaching £1,000 at one point. I've little doubt, that the Seller had a few friends pushing up the price. After it was at £1,000, bids were retracted and it went down to a modest £300.

IMO, the Seller 'pulled' the sale, fearful that the price might not rise in line with his/her expectations.

Shame the Seller seems to be less than 'straight', 'cos it looks to be a lovely bike.

It'll be interesting to see how the bidding process goes, this time around.
