Lightweight tyres

I'm looking for some lightweight tyres, must be skinwalls, and not too small...around 1.9 at least

I know the Ritchey Megabite are light but are there any others from BITD?

IRC made some, I used to run GeoClaw lite (sub 500g but seem impossible to find new and least last time I tried to look) and Panaracer Smoke Lite are also lightweight tyres but not as light iirc (I have the weight somewhere).

But what do you consider light ?

There is a big set of retro tyre tables here though. mid 90's probably.

hi Fluffy,

Thanks! Didn't know the list yet, but will have a look!

Light for me would be around 400 grams, but i think i have to go to 1.7 width tyres then...

That's hard bar a few quick wearing, thorn attracting, dry dusty track race orientated type with modern tyres even.

But if semislicks are your thing then modern maxlite, twister and fred would be light, but not amberwall.
Sub 400g in retro amber is probably the best you'll get.

(but I do not know all tyres of course) I just know the GeoClaw where about as light as they got.
the more tread the heavier they are

yeah geoclaws were light, I think mine were 1.75 or something, god only knows why i was running them for DH in 93...
