this is my first race bike . are they good . what should i look for
You should ensure it all works. Check frame for any damage - even small dents. Check brakes, tyres and chain for wear. Probably most importantly, you should check that it fits you (really that should have been first). The seat in the pic looks oddly adjusted but that might be just the pic.
Search eaby for similar bikes to get some idea of prices.

looks a good solid bike to me in good condition, the seat -bar position do look odd,as far as saying the frame was to small for the person who rode it.i think the best way to see how it is,is give it a quick spin up the road.how about a cheeky £200 bid,but going to £250 if he wont go for that
