700c Polished brand new Grand Bois rims, new rear hub is Ambrosio, front hub is slightly used Campag, tyres are vintage Michelin folding racing tyres semi slick.
Velorution London built the wheels a few years ago since when they have never been fitted to a bike or ridden.
I obtained the new Grand Bois rims from Japan, they are superb quality, very light and highly polished for that retro look, rear hub is polished Ambrosio with a Shimano bayonet and the front wheel was built using a used but very good Campag record hub. The Colnago emblems I obtained from Italy and applied them to the rims. The tyres are NOS vintage (clincher) Michelin folding racing tyres, you'll never find any more like that as they were discontinued yonks ago but they are much better quality than what Michelin are making now and the gum wall is a really nice retro light buff colour that you just don't come by these days, they are semi slik.
The Ambrosio hub can take upto 10speed Shimano (not Dura Ace - only 7-9 speed)
They cost over £350 to put together excluding inner tubes and tyres.
