I want/need/desire the lot! The ’87 Cannondale SM frame  is on its way but I want to do this right, so I’m quite happy to wait until the right items turn up (isn’t this half the fun of Retro-biking?)

Re: Suntour XC 9000 (NOS or very close)

Post will be 27.2 if I'm not mistaken.
I have an xc 9000 hubset if you want 130mm spaced just in used, well used condition. No qr levers thou.
Maybe have some more cannondale friendly bits. I will need to have a dig.
Price offers, dunno but allow $20nz for postage or 10£.
I may have a stem, and flatbar.
Keep me in mind if you can't find nos

Re: Suntour XC 9000 (NOS or very close)

Thanks, but I'd like to use a screw on freewheel; so '87 or '88 XC hubs. I think this freewheel would fit an '89 FH-XC10-R6 (at least that's what it says on Mombat!)

Thanks for the advise on the seat post. Can you send me some pics of the hubs?

It's a six-speed screw-on freewheel, not a cassette.

You're right; should have looked at the last photo

Re: Suntour XC 9000 (NOS or very close)

Might not be quite what you are after, but it is nos and lovely.

Re: Suntour XC 9000 (NOS or very close)

It is very nice but I've got my heart set on an earlier model. Thanks again
