MacRetro chat and rides thread

Read this in a forum made me laugh...
"I've been racing bicycles continuously since the early 1970's. My mid 1970's steel road racing bike with aluminum rim wheels with tubulars weighs about 24 lbs and my modern 5 year old bike with aluminum/carbon frame and carbon rim wheels with tubulars weighs about 16 lbs, which is a 8 lbs reduction in weight. In the 1970's I weighed about 123 lbs and currently weigh about 137 lbs, which is a 14 lbs increase in weight. So, technology has simply not kept pace with my weight gain, and I'm looking for a bike weighing 10 lbs"

No, you were SUPPOSED to say....'what, Pantani, gay?'

To which I was going to reply....'well I assumed he was, as he was wearing pink and looked like Rob'
