British Steel

What a cool pair of frames.

Interesting to note both the similarities and differences between the two.

Shame the colour is 'French Blue'

Cool T...!

Any more British Steel out there fellas...?

Wheres the Orange Formula got too, and the gorgeous Roberts...?

A shot of mine out on the local trails.
It is British & it is steel, just not as retro as I'd like. Retro inspired however.

Coo, that's nice Gio.

Ahhh, Magura's: I had them on my Zaskar when I first built it. I changed them for V brakes in 96/7, but I don't remember why

Thanks Neil.

The old Hydrostops are the original Magura's but you wouldn't know it how well they workl. Took a while to refurbish them but it was worth it in the end

I can't remember if mine were Hydrostop's or HS33's. I do remember that they worked really well and weren't any trouble.

I think mine had the lever fitted that allows the wheels to be changed easily.

It could well be that I changed them because I didn't like the levers and because XT V brakes were THE thing to have.

Anyway, very nice bike, as always.

DB next?
