Pine martens - we get them running along the roof of our house at night and ,annoyingly, lying in our lavender bush. They like nice smelling plants, by all accounts. They also like to chew through ignition cables on parked cars. A few mothballs in the engine bay deters them though.
I like them but I bet they can give a nasty bite - I wouldn't be picking one up without good gloves.
