Hopefully I'll be planning at least one SW ride a month, so check here for upcoming rides.
The idea is to do the rides on the first Sunday of each month if possible, but obviously this is fluid.
Feel free to suggest rides/locations below.

July 2013 - Cardinham Woods, Bodmin

Meeting: car park (i'll do a recce before, so more details to follow!)
Time: 10am to leave at 10.30am.
Length: as far as I can make out ther are 2 trails, blue and red, so hopefully we can try both :)

Think we need a Purbecks ride, but need to talk to those that know it better than I. Will hopefully have a chat with them and put a date forward

Cool! Want to try and have a nice even spread of rides. We have such a big area, and there a lot of places I've not ridden yet.

I did a recce on Sunday - freezing wind and snow, but it was fun.
Wet down Holford Combe.....which was interesting! Trees down everywhere.
Starting to get my bearings again up there after not riding there for a few years.

Yeah me too actually. We used to stop in Holford every weekend for about 4 years. There used to be a petrol station with hot pies etc & a cafe, but just the Plough now. I know most of the Q's very well, a bit hazy on the far side towards Staple plantation & west quantoxhead area, but I have discovered some nice trails over that way.

How do you get to the area? M5 or A39/358?
