Why are chain tools made of cheese??

My X-tools is really nice, comes with extra bits and the pressure is taken up by the movable end part. All my other ones I've had eventually gave up and a resting plate snapped eventually. All types over the years of that simpler design as above.

it's the best I've used.
just remember what the end bit is for, you adjust it to rest against the plate, else it'll end up like the rest I would guess.
Comfy to use as well.
