1996 Rocky Mountain Speed

Well while waiting for parts for the Yeti, and to correct my failure, I came across this bad boy! Only 300 ever made and in pretty good shape. I am going to do a full XTR M95x build with it. Decals are being sourced, gil, and fork is on its way!

I do believe 1996 and 1997. Not too much info on the Speed. Only 3 or 4 pictures online (google). The catalogue archive doesnt have english in 96 and the 97 is not clear enough.

I've seen a few of these come up, but not many. Curious how it rides. What's the fork that's already on there? And what are you planning to replace it with?

Its a Pace fork.....can't remember the model though. I was going to replace it with a Judy XC.

Should I keep the Pace fork or should I go with the Judy? Spec sheet/pictures show a Judy. But the Pace fork is starting to grow on me! Also the other question is whether or not I got Grip Shift X-Ray's or XTR M95x shifters?
