specialized 1.5 hardpack amberwall tyres........great to use, shed mud well and rolled great on dry rides too.....don't think I've ever seen a pair since about 1993!...... :?

Friend had them on a klien attitude pumped up to 60psi  nothing went faster uphill than that, and who ever rode it was the fastest lol irrespective of fitness levels.

I had a Casio digital cyclists watch, had an attachment that plugging the watch and clipped round your index finger so you could start and stop the timer with your thumb keeping both hands on the bars.

Macaw Tyres, bit like a Smoke/Dart. Bit soft, wore quick but grip was ok and funky colours!

Macaw gave my buddy a few sets of tires to run at the Kamikaze in Mamoth in 95. He tried them in practice. They lasted one run.
