Hi all, First post and its a biggie! thought I'd stick a few pics of my old bird on (hope it uploads ok) 17 years and going strong :D Bought it frame only then hand picked all the goodies, cost an effing fortune! Its changed over the years. I originally fitted Manitou EFC forks to it but swapped them on to my 1993 Team Marin (Dead now :(

your first attempt was amess because you did not put a space between each picture link so they count as one so were not recognised

second attempt got it right

Jussa's got one of these very similar and i have to admit within the proflex range ..these are quite nice..although I do prefer the funkyness of the girvins

Cheers. Yeah the space thing :/ I've never ridden with Girvin's and I must admit to not liking their design, thats why I opted for the Manitou EFC originally, great fork but those elastomers were poo in the cold.

Very nice ride and some choice components too, I really like mine, actually dont mind the Girvins, thought i'd hate them initially but seem to be part the character to the Flex. I've since upgraded the front and rear shock to Noleen NR2 on the rear, and a Spring conversion on the front. Mines running full STX-RC which in all honesty is not high-end but reliable, the Maguras are now off and Canti's on which has helped keep the weight down.

Nice one mate. They do look great in grey I must admit. The Girvin's make it look bomb proof for sure. RE: your Noleen shock, do you know anywhere that services them? mine is nitrogen charged so wondered if that would require a specialist? Cheers.
