Klein Special, is it an Attitude?

Does anyone know what we are dealing with here?

Klein experts assemble (not me). The fact there's what appears to be a modern suspension fork and standard cup headset installed suggests not an Attitude.

What you mention seems to be non-Klein items fitted later.

Look at this picture. This means pre-1994 right?

Top Gun/Rascal/Fervor - basically an MC1 1" non suspension corrected Klein.

Nice bike.

Unfortunately the original fork has gone missing.

But the 'Special' sticker is what really puzzles me, it seems like an official Klein sticker, but I have never seen it before.

If the downtube decal is not original and neither is the top tube decal. The frame was repainted at some point in time.

I don't know anything about the originality of the decals.. But I guess it sounds reasonable that it was repainted and new decals applied.

It seems to me that the tube for the fork is made for ordinary fork sizes like the early pinnacles and not like the 92/92 attitudes..

It's either a Rascal or a Fervor, and those are the same exact thing.

It's not Pinnacle, it's not a Pulse, it's not an Attitude and it's not an Adroit.
