MacFatro - Fatbike news and builds thread

Velo you'd do yourself a favour if you popped by a certain honeymonsteresque retrobikers pad with some buns and bits

OOPS, completely forgot about the Broxburn fellow

However, I'm doing this myself, determined to build my own fat bike from the ground up but may consult others if/when it all goes to poo

Still he might have a wee tucked away supply of 3" gazzalodi's.

Time for another little change to my Moonie.

It has become....

The Surly Stealthlander,

or

Oh and I dinae need three inch wide gazothingies, I have a set of 24 x 3" Vuelta DH tyres NOS, very aggressive tread pattern, they fit with clearance my On-One 456 frame

The guy whose created that bikes on Retrobike somewhere and I believe he's from Edinburgh but other than that seems to have no desire to have anything to do with MacRetro but who could blame him

I really like that but I think it might be a little flexy for a fat bike, I hate mine as a 26-er from that perspective, good forks and a more rigid rear triangle might make a big difference though.
