nice fork

Only downside is it looks a bit "wanky" where the crownrace fits and meet the HT.

As the frame uses an integrated headset the area where the crown race sits is a little proud. Doesn't flow :(

That said who cares its fapping light!

I had the same problem. A Chris King solved the problem.

How so?

As it is fatter. so nearly takes up the extra space. Like this.

I think i've misunderstood  your problem is different???

Thats a pity about the crown/ headtube, can't be far off though? As you say mind its fapping light :) looking forward to the built pics.

So quick update:

As it stands in the pics its tad under 18lb.

Fork and a wheel change have been the biggest contributors.

Pics (whilst rubbish) make the fork look better than it is. Its wonderfully finished but as mentioned above the HT/Crown interface isn't great!

Just picked up one of these too (110g saving over the Flite!):

Sub 17lbs then I'll stop

Upgrades to come ......

Polished M952 cranks & Ultegra BB - should shave off a few grams

Just had a quick scan back through the thread, and didn't notice details of the new wheels?

Nice build BTW. Trimming the steerer will save a few gramme or two ;)

Regards
