I've voted for the Cannondale EST, it looks stunning and just as i remember seeing them in shop back in the day.

Looks like my alternatives were spot on, I just chose the less popular of the two...

...still think I was right though ;)

with just a few hours to go, one in for Bart - he knows why :D

Ha! Thanks!! :p

To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed..... :( IMHO the Scott is THE perfect example of a restoration in the true meaning of the word.... The frame was in a bad shape when I bought it. I repainted the frame, had the decals custom made by a lovely chap from this forum ( ;) ), searched for all the original parts and build the bike like it should be! To me that is a true restoration..... Not too many votes for it though.... I guess it is because it's a Scott! Not much love for Scott on this forum!

Ah well, everybody has it's own explanation of the word 'restoration'. Next month better luck!!

I think the fact that you got 6 votes with a Scott is a testament to the quality of the work you did. Like you said, Scotts just don't get much love. Pulling 6 votes away from a bike that is in a museum should be pretty gratifying. I think you did an excellent job.

Good point!!

We have a saying in the Netherlands: Is the glass half full or half empty.....?

Thanks! :p

You just made my day! More karma on the way!!
