Blimey....COmputer Business Orientated Language, you must be a child of the 60's LOL

We were taught by a bloke called Godfrey.......

Shaun

1967 - a good year indeed, but not for my poor mother, no doubt!

there were two kids in our class - both bbc micro/ zx spectrum boffins who took
to cobol like ducks to water - no one else in the class understood it at all.
i can remember that you had to type lines of gobbledegook at certain positions
on the program page or it wouldn't work properly..

...but teacher was hot indeed!!!

;)

There are also two wheelsets available in a special 80th livery, glad they stuck with mechanical for this. I wonder what the investment potential is?

If any of the other anniversary groupsets are anything to go by it 'should' be an investment but IMO this isn't a patch on the 50th edition. The engraving on the 50th would seen to be more worthy than a set of decals?

:?

No hubs, no headset, no seat-post, no pedals....and it's still called a groupset.

Times have indeed changed.

Bit of a let down. Would of been better if they had re done the 80's C record group set with some carbon bling. Imagine Carbon Delta brakes!

Whilst that may be nice an anniversary group should represent the state if the art at the time just as the 50th did ...

I suspect many of these will go in a bottom draw..

is it just me? when i look at that new gruppo, all i can see is
plastic! i'd far rather see GOLD!!!! i think that i'd rather save for this > >
