I have a set of Bullseye hubs, and they come with allen bolts/washers, but they don't take the typical allen size (hex?). Also, they don't take quick release skewers.

Anyone have any info on a good alternative bolt or mod to the bullseye to make it more user friendly for when having a mechanical out on the trail?

Thanks

An easy fix is to drill and tap a new hole for a metric grub screw on the opposite side of the collar.

You sould be able to swap the whole axle out fairly easily with something more QR friendly too.

You may have the bmx style axle, here is the mountian bike style

not sure what yours are like ,pics please

mine are like the ones pictured above ,the axle is basically a bit of
12mm alloy bar with the ends turned down
i take it yours are a bolt thru arrangement ?

can someone tell me the size of the bolts on these hubs? They are not metric. I've got a pair of wheels with Bullseye hubs and want to replace the QRs with bolts.
