Very cool! Where is that? Who made it? Yours?
It is for truing wheels. It may have used to build wheels for Rocky Mountain. The gauges are in mm to measure the wheel. The contact points are cartridge bearings.
My local bike store is selling this.

Very interesting.

I want to learn how to program little microprocessors like the Arduino, so am scheming out a plan for a fancy wheel truing jig.
Using a couple of sensors I will continuously measure the side to side runout of the rim and the ovality. Combining that with an encoder or a proximity sensor to count spokes, I will then be able to create a file which states the error at any point. Hopefully I will end up with a table suggesting what spokes need adjusting to get a perfectly true rim.

It's all just a learning exercise for a bit of fun. Because I won't be taking spoke tension into account, I doubt it will actually help me true wheels better than doing it by feel.
