Just stumbled across this and found it interesting, thought others (particularly the uneducated like myself) might do too!

does anyone here own a columbus max frame? i remember that bianchi
made one way back when MAX first came out - these frames were
stunning!!

Does anybody know the columbus series called "CORSA"?

I own a Saronni frame built with this tubes but i can't find any information about them.

Thanks

Sure!
But these pics are quite old.

Now it has a pair of Croce D'Aune Delta Brakes and the wheels are Shamal.
I´ll take a few new photographs... but I don't know when.

the frame is stunning - very unusual - i wonder if it was a one-off
for a show? lots of italian companies used to do this kind of thing
in the 80s for the likes of the koln show etc. what's the history,
do you know?

I don't know the history.
I bought it a few years ago looking for a old frame to convert in SS.
The old owner (spanish like me) told me that it was his bike for races when he was young. I bought only the frameset, seat post (3ttt), stem (cinelli), handlebar (3ttt super leggero) and bottom bracket and headset (Ofmega).

I have never seen the Columbus Corsa tubes in any other bike

i would guess that it's incredibly rare. maybe a one-off? in all my years working
in the cycle trade, i have never seen this type of columbus tubing. do you know
where it lies in the columbus line of frame tubing?
