Hi, I have a hub problem, off the bike it works perfectly, lovely loud click etc, but when I clamp it in the frame it turns into a fixed wheel, any ideas?
this \/ is the offending hub, thanks in advance, [sorry for the crap photo]

they're now under the fridge probably.

if it is binding under compression then either the free hub is clamping in to the body or the bearing are going offline.
where aired all the other bits. there should be a spacer between the free hub and the body on the axle.
while theses are 2000+ hub they are the same setup as the ti-glide..
they are like mine a Mono hub.

pop to hopes website and go into their technical and old hub section. look for ti-glide/mono/xc and see how their spacers should be.

As FluffyChicken says, there should be an aluminium sleeve that slides onto the axle before the freehub goes on. It's about 20mm long and sits in the gap between the hub bearing and freehub bearing. Without this sleeve the freehub body will be pressed into the hub seal when you clamp up the quick release.

It's part no. 5 here...

I only know this because I've committed the same schoolboy error myself :D .
