Colnago Roger de Vlaeminck cyclocross bike

I must admit to being excessively dismissive of most claims of bikes being used by prominent riders, but this is one case where I do believe that there might actually be some truth. De Vlaeminck rode for Boule d'Or in the 1980 season when they rode Colnago bikes. The bikes were the same blue, de Vlaeminck was one of the few who rode cyclocross, the saddle used was the Selle Royal Contour... all details correspond (although it is very strange to have 3TTT bars in a Cinelli stem as any self-respecting bike mechanic knew that this was a recipe for disaster due to the difference in diameters: 26.0 vs. 26.4)

Beautiful bike. I own a younger cousin of this one, a small yellow frame built in the mid to late '90s. As it does not have a serial number, the Colnago factory could not give me any information about it.

Does this frame have a serial number?

BTW, I've been able to identify a total of three or four steel cyclocross bikes made by Colnago. Yours is the earliest.

Any additional information would be appreciated!

Thanks!
