The '90 catalogue shows the alu team in blue-smoke 'cloud' but doesn't say it is flair paint.

The '89 Araya catalogue has one too but that appears to be steel)

The downtube on this one is mahoosive!?

I have a complete groupset in XC pro (bar headset and GG pedals) which will move from the Orange (which will down spec to lx as a daily driver)

May then spend time collecting XT II as per my 2nd post ;)
 
Its in the 89 catalogue in the scans section, the 90 frames got the wishbone stays with the team having the pierced top tube, the 89 was a bit more conventional with regular stays and probably a nicer geometry.

Love this frame. Had my eye it too but couldn't justify buying. Will be interesting to see it built. Get cracking :)
 
A little £6.50 well spent on t'bay

a 'nos' fox stem from '88. I say new it's more OOS (old...) as it's a bit battered in the paint department.

But that's handy as its cast ally :cool: and will get polished to within an inch of itself.

And the MF logo is cast in too. The canti roller is fixed with two M4 set screws! and can be removed / added as whim and forks take me.
