Your manager might be an arse but at least he's a manager. IF we had one we could be watching an exiting team with the youngsters we have, 10 Scots and 7 under 21's in yesterdays team.

Anyway, back on topic the Red Bull thing could be interesting fun as Victoria Street that they have to go up is cobbled with a turn half way up. Won't be as easy as the roadies normally have it on these challenges.

Not so! Chris Akrigg mullered a load of roadies on a similar 'race'. Would be a goodun to watch.

Ah, the only footage of ones I have seen tended to go BMX guys have no chance, fixies get stuffed by the chicane sections as they struggle to carry speed, MTB guys do well thanks to tech and knowhow on climbing and then some 10st whippet on a carbon frame beasts the climb.

I'll go along though as it should be fun and nice to see pros going up a street that has me blowing out my arse if I try to do it quickly.
