I was intending to use a 'collar' stop under the h/set locknut, but having put the forks on, it turns out there's only just enough thread for the actual locknut to go on, without anything else spacing it out :x Bearing in mind the chances of finding a decent but affordable stem with built-in routing are slim, is there any other option? (apart from changing the forks :roll: )

Hi I had the same problem and used the type that clamped on the stem just above headset,,Problem solved!

There are several types depending on stem diameter etc,,,just type "cable hanger" into ebay.
