1996 DBR Axis R

Very nice. I craved one of these for years and ended up with a tatty frame over a year ago. My nephew ended up with it but I wouldn't mind it back now after seeing yours!

some teaser shots until I've got the chainset on it. These are the new bits, and bits I didn't photograph very well in the original snaps

new seatpost, will do until I find a nicer one

you know I covet yours marinito ;) If you or your friend ever sell, I want to know 1st ;) As long as it's 18-20" frame. I want those ti P2s too ;)

Looking really nice Tim!
I think the 737 is the best looking chainset shimano ever made, so it'll look fantastic on that build.
I look forward to seeing it in the flesh, when I can ride again

thanks Mark. Pop round any time for a cuppa, or beer, whichever takes your fancy. I have a feeling it won't get ridden too much now.

no, this takes a 26.8. The 27 was for the reason this won't be used much
That's the TT-Lite frameset, isn't it?

Both my TT-Lite frames (admittedly both 95) take 27.0.

it is TT Lite, but it definitely takes a 26.8. That's what I removed and replaced. I initially thought it would be a 27.0, as my 94 Axis and 96 WCF both take 27.0, but when I got the old one out it was 26.8
