Here is my Kerry Classique which I stripped bare and copper plated. Can't find out too much about the maker - Kerry's of Great Britain, London E15. Happy to hear from anyone who can help me date the frame.
Campagnolo crank. Modified to take a single 42 tooth chainring. 170mm cranks

Aluminium converter stem
Nologo 700C deep rim wheels in white with slick orange tyres and green anodised hubs
Shimano SPD pedals with adaptor plate
Long drop, aluminium, dual pivot brake calipers with Vans custom brake shoes

Hi, I've come across Kerrys occasionally, I believe mainly they did roadsters and tradesmen bikes but did do some racer models. I would guess mid to late fifties with your bike, the catalogue entry below is from the early sixties. There's not a lot of them about, but you do see the odd one on ebay. Nice stylish build, shows what you can do with old steel, but a touch too modern for me personally. Terry

Thanks Terry, delighted with the catalogue entry you posted.

I was in two minds as to whether I should put modern components on it, but with a couple of classics in the stable I though I'd try something new. It certainly turns heads on the road, but they're often looks of confusion as much as admiration.
