I did a Via Ferrata in the Dolomites simialr to that once - never been so frightened in my life :shock:

If you watch the video guy he comes across a cowardly (smart?) guy wearing a harness and what we climbers/cavers call Cows Tails (two short lengths of rope, each with a Karabiner attached). The hand-rope that runs along the sides is bolted to the rock (on rusty bolta by now I would guess :shock: ) so he clips into one section then before he moves to the next he clips second tail into next bit of rope...............if he did fall though he would have to haul himself up on bodyweight alone while swinging from a bolt of unknown age.... :shock:

Think i'd rather watch it on my PC
