Recent renovation - great custom paint option worked out by Jason Rourke

Circa.1992 in the High Pro style favoured by a few of the tall Dutch riders of the day

Very nice. Love the black and white scheme. Understandably it is the 1st Rourke I've seen w/o the wrap around seat stays! ;)
 
What was the advantage of that then? To my eye you wouldn't lose anything by moving that top tube up.
 
Fair comment on moving the top tube up! 'Different for the sake of different' might be something of an answer. Original thoughts were a smaller (and stiffer?) main triangle, but the super long (flexy?) head tube seems to have been overlooked :roll:

It does actually have the wrap over seat stays (see new pic) as I remember (Brian himself?) saying it was a 'balls' to try and get their signature feature on this most awkward of seat clusters

lovely paint job from Rourkies, they are doing a Rapha special in black with a red Chris King headset, you have it just right well done. Reminds me to renew my efforts to try and find my old BR track bike!
