Pewter - what to do with it?

I used to cast a lot of emblems....1 sided badge style stuff at the cast metal sign place...the boss used to make the master out of clay, paint it then i'd cast a 1st copy and re-use that over and over, used to do some intricate tricky stuff with the green coloured sand (not green sand that is not green) then these would be used on the full size sign with the text on.
