highly sought for sure - extraordinary price - the 'century' finish? how does this differ from the 1st - 5th gen versions?

"century" finish is grey anodised, not silver like the ordinary parts. It says the listing has ended - I wonder if he sold them for that price or somewhere near it?

Did a completed listing search and they did not sell, although could have been an off Ebay transaction

So nearly 3 x the "market" price simply for a darker shade?! wow, that's sort of unexplainable to me. Am I right in thinking that these are more than rare and that the rest of the groupset is finished in the same fashion? Did this mark a special anniversary or just a limited production run? I note it says De Rosa in the advert title but no markings or any pantographing?
