has someone removed yours ?
No one has removed these bits, there were different models of TREK 8000, and mine lacks these important bits.
Maybe they wanted to save weight :LOL: ...so mine is definitely much lighter than yours ;)

I had the same problem with the front mech on my 7000 and found the problem solver in the pic below. Cant remember where I got it from but I think CRC may do them.

Today BB and crank turn came, DX cantis are also fitted. But the remaining parts must first be sorted :(
