2013 salsa fargo 2

A rare wonder into 98+ section for me and I have enjoyed reading this.

I really love the fargo, looks totally unflapable, with some nice salsa details. Not sure on the Orange bar tape, as I'm not a lover of Orange colour, but hey, looks like great fun.

Beautiful scenery as well, as has been said previously

Well after yesterday's puncture issues I wanted a decent ride today.

Headed along the quayside, grabbed a sandwich and then over into Gateshead up the derwent walk to see the red kites and buzzards etc.

This is what I bought the bike for....railways routes, sustrans and C2C trails.

Few snaps as usual.

Looks a lot like the perfect machine for what you have planned for it. The only thing I would change if it was mine is I would go for 1.8 Panaracer FireXCpro tyres but that is just my taste for that type of trail.

It's running 2.3 wtb at the minute and they seem skinny still........though they do soak up the bumps and also grip better then the Conti race kings.

After 100+ miles this week, today was a gentle 15 mile loop around my local quayside patch, bit of dinner and a couple of pints at the pub.....great end to the week.

Yeah, there's a link after each ride, stored for life on the calendar.....you just copy and paste.

I only ask because I've just seen an advert on us tv where a rider rode a specific route then sent the map of it to his girlfriend on valentines day and when she opened it the route was in the shape of a heart.

sloppy sap stuff I know

Yeah you can do that....also you can have phone open and see the line rode out as you pedal.

I use it as it has logged every ride for 2 yrs.....all stored and backed up, you can zoom in on a day and see every detail of the ride, comes up on google maps, very clever stuff.

Took advantage of the mild but windy weather today after yesterday's snow!

Brooks saddle on and also one of my trusty speedzone computers that I have a few of......then a trip up the north east coast.

Stem mounted as on other bikes.....more hand room.
