Virtually NOS Giant XTC Team NRS...now splitting

In a deal involving some malt whisky I picked this up the other day and would love to keep it but can not.
The bike is is fantastic almost as-new condition with just some storage marks to the lhs 'chainstay' and a slight scratch in the lhs downtube decal.
The only other neg. things I can say is that the lhs crank is missing the self-extracting parts (see picture) and the lovely bars have been cut-down to a silly narrow 560mm.
If I could keep it I would change the stem, saddle, post and bars and chop the steerer tube down.

It will need a very light service. The gears are not indexing perfectly at the moment and the FM cable is frayed past the pinch bolt. No doubt you will need to play around with the suspension settings but everything works and no play.

The size is a Giant medium. 18.5" seat-tube centre to top, 22" top-tube centre to centre actual

Price £750 excluding shipping...collection from Cardiff most welcome

Must've been some damn fine Whisky :D

Re: Virtually NOS Giant XTC Team NRS...nice build

That is probably inevitable...I will draw up a split list with prices later.

Here we go, but I would like the frame to sell first, or have the majority of parts sold subject to splitting before I take my allen keys to it.

Please reply here followed by a pm, to avoid confusion etc.

Real shame to have to split that, Carl... Looks nice as a whole.

I agree Steve..with a few little changes (stem, bars, saddle and cutting steerer down) it would look and ride real nice.

I believe the forks have 105mm travel

Well judging by your link, the forks seem to get Good reviews. And for 10yrs old they seem in amazing condition.

Just logging interest here, pending sale of frame only, and a confirmation of steerer length.

Okay Steve, they are spotless although the crown could do with a polish
