1995 Kona Hei Hei

I'm on it and I've NEVER had a Hei Hei!

The guy said he's out of town now for a week but would come back to me soon.

Here's hoping....

Am I right in thinking that this later model is not as good as the earlier ones both in material, build quality and geometry?
I know I prefer the early "stretched-out" geometry of my early Kilauea over my later one.
 
Mmmmm- the later ones are probably better made. I've had 3 1995 eras and my current one is an early one without the bullit style ends. I found the later ones had really nice welding whereas mine is a little bit blobby in areas.

Has it got the extended seat tube common to most/all Konas? For some reason the most common 1994/1995-ish one seemed to have a lopped seat-tube. Wierd they did that over that period. They seemed to revert back to the long seat tube design after a while in later revisions.

Think mines a 1991-1993 but need it verifying.
 
I've got a 1" Track Two (+ 1 1/8 - 1" headset reducer), a pair of NOS Equillibrium & Propulsion tyres and a NOS Combo Bottle Cage.

Would look great on an early Hei Hei, a la:
